For a long time I've wanted a bowler hat for some reason, but even now they're vaguely fashionable all I can find are really expensive ones that are extremely uninteresting for how much they cost.
So I bought a almost similar hat from the $2 shop. Originally it had a much wider rim, sort of like a cowboy hat. I trimmed about 3 inches off, pulled off the crappy ribbon it came with and stuck a new one with a heart & skull I made from polymer clay.
I quite like how it looks now. Too bad I don't wear hats.
