With my recent craft spree thing I've ended-up with a whole bunch of sewing stuff (pins, thread, ect) and with no where to put it it keeps ending up spread over the living room floor. So I was looking for something to put it all in, and I found the GX tin I bought with a magazine for the lulz a couple of months ago that was about the right size, but didn't have a handle or shelves. So I made some.

The two shelves (one's suspended over the other one and lifts out) and the bits holding them in place are a couple of lids off containers from chinese take-aways with the middle cut-out and taped together, and the handle's a bit of coat hanger.
And I only super-glued my fingers 3 times. ;D
